The Institute has a new website! And we would love for you to get online and check it out – and possibly even contribute in some way. The website is an important link between the us and the arts and health community nationally and we are keen to ensure it is not only useful but it is also accessible. With that in mind, we have put in a bit of extra effort to ensure the site has the highest rating in relation to access for all abilities. We worked with web design company Web Prophets, which specialises in developing websites for community organisations and ensure that as many people can access to websites as possible.
Of course we still have all the usual information. You can find out more about us, the work we do, our board and you can check out all the latest news from across the sector. We also have some great resources for you to use and suggested links to other organisations from around the globe that are working to develop the arts and health sector.
We are also really keen for you to help us keep the site up to date. One of the core goals for The Institute is to provide access to information, research and evidence about arts and health from around Australia and around the world, and we would love to hear about your projects, initiatives and research! Via the new website you can submit us any useful documents or links that might be useful for others – research, project reports, tools, evaluations and frameworks. You name it, we are eager to spread the word and would really appreciate you helping us out. And it will be a great way to tell others about your project too.
It also provides a great overview of our current projects and there is information about our state based leadership groups, which we have recently established. Please go and have a look and let us know what you think, we would love your feedback.
